The La France Insoumise (LFI) party has launched the latest version of its political program, "L’Avenir en commun" (A Shared Future)—the title the program has held since the movement’s founding ten years ago—presenting nearly a thousand measures in preparation for the upcoming presidential elections.

Massive Rally in Seine-Saint-Denis

The release of the new program book in bookstores at a price of €4.90 coincided with the organization of a major rally on Saturday afternoon at the Exhibition Centre in the city of Le Bourget (Seine-Saint-Denis department). Between 10,000 and 20,000 party activists are expected to attend the event, which the movement described as "the most important political event in the history of Le Bourget," in a symbolic nod to the famous rally held by François Hollande at the same venue in 2012 prior to his presidential victory.

"The Program Is the Candidate"

The movement's current trajectory is rooted in the slogan favored by its founder, Jean-Luc Mélenchon: "the candidate is the program." For his part, Manuel Bompard, National Coordinator of La France Insoumise, affirmed that this step comes "within the continuity of serious, thorough, and enriched programmatic work" to present the alternatives and policies championed by the movement for the upcoming period.
